Rowan Sockwell
China Fellow • ADVOCACY AND GOVERNMENT RELATIONS
Rowan Sockwell joins Amnesty International USA as the China Fellow with the Advocacy & Government Relations Team. Rowan recently pursued a Master’s in International Social & Public Policy at the London School of Economics, where she researched China’s relations in the Global South. She has worked as a Research Analyst with the Congressional and Federal Teams at Leadership Connect and interned at the U.S. House of Representatives. Rowan previously taught English in Suzhou, China and mobilized support for nonprofits as an Americorps Outreach Coordinator. Rowan is proficient in Mandarin and fluent in Spanish.
